Perol Chico, a member of the National Association of Breeders and Owners of Peruvian Paso Horses (ANCPCPP), was founded in 1995 and is Dutch-Peruvian owned.

Our riding center sits in the most fascinating region of the Andes: the Sacred Valley of the Incas, between Cusco and Machu Picchu. The varied and dramatic scenery of snow-capped mountains, flowering meadows, deep blue lagoons and spectacular flora and fauna, make the Valley the prime base for adventure tourism in South America.

All our horses are genuine Peruvian Pasos trained with traditional Peruvian horsemanship and kept in immaculate condition.

We promote ecological awareness and strive to exert a minimum impact on the environment while actively promoting local cultures and traditions.

Perol Chico also operates from Ullujaya, our ambitious breeding center located in Ica, just 50 km from the Pacific Ocean on the south coast of Peru.

The breeding-stock is raised in an extension of 800 hectares of private desert land.

Ullujaya is a venture-project of Mariano Cabrera Ganoza, a respected international judge and connoisseur of the Peruvian Paso breed, and Eduard van Brunschot Vega, the owner of Perol Chico.
